​Mother Goose: Read to Me is always looking for committed volunteers to distribute books and share information with mothers and fathers of babies.

Volunteer hours can be on a weekly schedule or flexible based on events and partner needs.

Our nonprofit carries liability and risk insurance for volunteers.

Responsibilities include:

• Attend a one-hour orientation that details the role of volunteers with each of our
  organizations and includes simple methods of reading and talking to infants.

​

• Obtain two Pennsylvania State clearances:

  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check

  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance 

​

• Hand out free books!

​

• Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to schedule time and place to volunteer.

​

• Keep a log of your visits and the number of books you hand out.
